Hey guys - not a lot of time today, just a quick drop in to let you know I AM still getting dressed in the morning ;) There's nothing especially fashionable or extravagant about this outfit, but sometimes there's beauty in simplicity.

B and I are gearing up for our house-hunting trip to Lexington - can't wait!! I'm so excited to spend a little time in the city we are about to call home. I'd be lying if I said my head wasn't already there anyway.

Whats this? An ACTUAL outfit post?! Yea, I know its Friday, but at least I got 2 in the books this week. Next week will be back to regularly scheduled programming, life has just been a little coo coo latley, and I'm not going to lie and say my outfits haven't taken a hit. I spent most of this week in old glasses, jeans and lame tees. For sure, not blog worthy.

It's my brothers last weekend in town and I think we are going to play it cool and enjoy just a bit more time together. I believe a trip to the Gorge, and wine tasting are in order! What are ya'll up to for this lovely FALL weekend???

Ok I broke.

With all my amazing new followers I decided it was probably time to get off the lazy train and use my real camera. Looks better, no? Its not the ideal lighting situation, but I'll get better. At least now you can really see the details and colors of the items right? I feel I should get an 'A' for effort here, and I think the ole iPhone has certainly gotten me far, but this is waaaay better!

I realize I'm a walking billboard for AE here, but I can not stress enough the amazing-ness that is these pants. Its their knit jegging, and they are AWESOME. So comfortable, and they hug every curve without being too tight. I'm the first to tell you my problem section is my middle, and these pants fit so perfect, I'm not even forced to wear baggy tunics over them because they muffin top me. I'm desperately hoping they'll come out with more colors... hunter green perhaps? Maybe a fall-ish orange? PLEASE AE I BEG YOU. See. I'm not above begging.

Thursday Remix

I admit, I kind of took the easy way out. I wanted to remix the striped maxi from last week, but this week has been exhausting and work is kicking my butt, so its the coral tank top again. THREE weeks in a row! I know, I know. At least its a basic piece so constantly re-wearing it in the office probably isn't weirding anyone out yet.

So wow. Just. Wow. On the Dallas finale last night - EPIC. Totally intermixed the old show with the new one. Already can't wait til January for the new season to start! Ack!

Ok readers I need your very serious opinion here. I've been feeling the need for a change in my look. I spent my late teens and early 20's dying my hair every color of the rainbow, but its been years since I've been anything but my (natural) blonde. I'm thinking about going brunette.. or possibly strawberry blonde. Like, tonight. Like I want to stop at the drugstore and pick up my favorite dye and just go for it.
Dont get me wrong, I LOVE being blonde, and I'll always go back to it... sometimes it just fun to mix things up a bit. I'm just skeptical since it's been so long since I've changed it!! What do you think??!

When comfort beats out style

So I guess I'm not FULLY over the sickness. Am I the only one that feels a lot of pressure to have super cute outfits every day because you know you are going to be posting them later? With my fatigue and now working full days again, this week has been waaaay more comfort then style. I'm doing my best but something tells me when I look back at this weeks outfits in the future it will be more 'ew' then 'aw'.

Ah well. I enjoy doing this too much to not post! This outfit feels almost like a bit of a lie however, I wore it all day but spent most of it covered up with an oversize sweatshirt as the a/c was flipping freezing in my office. So really, imagine this with a huge hooded pink sweatshirt. There. Now you have my real daily outfit!

Jegging Wednesday

I seriously love jeggings. No really. I LOVE jeggings. Not only are they comfortable, they function as jeans, without all the annoying zippers and buttons.

Today I woke up waaaaay late (oops) and really needed comfort and quick, over style. Enter my love - jeggings! They are my go-to for quick and cute!

Also, I chose this picture, not because I look the best, but because I love the look my kitty is giving me in the background. Oh Rosie. She's my bulimic cat, and I dont mean that in a negative or mocking way. She doesnt eat much, but when she does, she eats and eats and eats, and then walks away and throws up. But shes quite svelte. Oi. My other chubby kitty more then makes up for her though!
