Happy Friday! No wait... Its only Thursday. But its my Friday! So Happy Friday to me!

Most of the other chumps in my office are taking off all next week, as I'm sure every working person with hours to burn will be, but SOMEONE has to be in the office and since I have no real Christmas plans, or children, or family close by for that matter, I decided to take the bullet and come in the day after Xmas. Ugh. But in trade I'm taking tomorrow off, so I still get a nifty little 5 day weekend. Hard to believe Christmas is just around the corner. It's gone by in a blur with everything else going on in our lives.

So anyway, heres the thing with these trouser jeans. I love them. They look great in motion and I love the fit, but I've decided they totally don't photograph well. I didnt really like how ANY of my pics turned out with these pants, they just look so... blah. I wasn't crazy about they way they photographed here either. Ah well. It wont deter me from wearing them again, thats fo sho.

Patterned Up Thursday

I stayed up too late last night.

The bummer about me and B being on such opposite shifts is we hardly see each other during the week, unless I wait up until he gets home around 10:30pm (which, I am usually awake, but in bed watching TV or reading!) Well last night we decided to go OUT for a drink when he arrived home at 10:30, resulting in us getting to bed around 1:00am. Which is late for a girl with a normal 8-5. Thank god for my magic bullet magically whipping me up some iced mocha this morning... It's the only thing keeping me awake! And I may just make another one when I go home for lunch... YUM.

In other exciting news - I finally got around to ordering a tripod and camera remote for my Nikon! Once that arrives (and I figure out how to use it) there will be no more grainy iPhone pics from this girl! Wahoo!

Happy Tuesday!

I'm still trying to get the hang of remembering to chronicle my outfits! We went out for B's birthday dinner last night, and I completely forgot to take a picture of my cute outfit. Tsk tsk!

Today I started the day wanting to dress a little nicer today for a mid-day client meeting, but also wanted to be comfortable for the anticipated 70 degree weather! I paired a simple summery skirt with a tucked-in oversize tee and cardi, making the perfect casual yet professional outfit.
By lunch time I was struggling with wanting to sit indian style (which i often do at work, dont judge me!) So on lunch at home I switched it up for some comfy jeans.

In both outfits I'm loving the lilac and navy mixed with a neutral sweater and patterned shoe.

First of all, a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the wonderful man that loves me just as much as I love him. He's the reason I get up every morning and I'm so blessed to have such an amazing person in my life. Love you babe! Happy 34th! :)

Second of all, I've hit my first bump in the road on linking to similar outfits here! The dress I'm wearing today is brand new from Kohl's but I cant find it anywhere on the internet... the sweater is probably 5 years old and I cant find any good comparisons... my boots are new too but I got them on clearance and you cant find them on Blowfish's site any more, and my belt isnt sold at Maurices any more! Weird!
But regardless, its 60 and sunny in the Tri-Cities today and this is a perfect, easy wear Monday outfit. :)

Now time to go celebrate with my babe!
