Jazzin' it Up

Cardi: Old Navy (on sale!) / Tee: Amos Lee concert tee / Jeans: CAbi / Boots: Steve Madden (similar) / Earrings: Target (old)

Some days you just want to wear a plain ole t-shirt. Really, that's a lot of days for me, but I try to refrain. In this case, Friday seemed like a good opportunity to jazz up a tee a little bit. I paired it with my awesome new cardi, a little animal print goes a long way. Its hard to tell, but there's metallic threads woven in it too, which makes it extra fun. A pair of heeled boots and some saucy earrings and wa-la. I love the way it turned out and bonus - I was super comfortable all day.

What are your tricks to making a snooze-worthy outfit more fashionable??

Dorkin' it up!

Shirt: Kohls / Skirt: Mossimo for Target / Shoes: Mossimo for Target / Scarf: American Eagle

Ok I cheated a little, I'm actually wearing this outfit TOMORROW in real life, and I took the picture YESTERDAY pre-haircut and color, but since tomorrow is Copycat Friday, I wanted to wait to post TODAY's outfit that was inspired by another blogger! Confused yet? I know I am.

So I'm not really the worlds hugest Star Wars fan, (that would be my older brother, Jake) but B and I have a serious obsession with the Lego Star Wars games right now, so I say that still counts. I saw this tee at Kohl's and I about peed myself, so I snagged it for $8. A Storm Trooper riding a roller coaster with Darth Vader? Come on, its just too much! Gotta love Kohl's! :)

Everyone Needs a T-shirt & Jeans Day Sometimes

Tee: Loud Lion / Jeans: Rock & Republic for Kohls / Shoes: Converse thrifted

Some days are just t-shirt and jeans days. I try to keep these days to a minimum during the week, but sometimes you just feel your best in something super casual and comfortable.
I have a ton of tees I love, but this one is one of my absolute faves (also seen here). Paired with my trusty Con's (you'll raaaarely see me in sneaks, but I can't get enough of the plaid!) - it doesnt get more comfy then that.

Mad props to guest model Rosie (who promptly threw up after this photo). Awesome.

A new little Saturday treat...

Typically I reserve my Saturday's for cleaning, or crafts, or just lounging around. This means sweats or a t-shirt and jeans, and no need to chronicle my slubby outfit! But today I got the jeanius (get it jean-ius) idea to have a little guest bloggeroo action.

A little bit of background, I'm blessed and cursed to have a man that has a great personal style. He doesn't really care about labels, and is super into how his clothes look and feel and fit. He follows trends like I do, but also works in a super casual environment, also like I do! Now the curse side is, unlike most men who have a rotation of 20 t-shirts and 2 pairs of jeans, B has an insane amount of clothes... and we share a closet. Blast!
Alas, due to his wonky work schedule he actually works Saturdays, so my Saturday's will now be devoted to HIS personal style. Isn't he a stud? Not that I'm biased or anything... Enjoy! :)

Casual Friday

Tee: Loud Lion / Sweater: New York & Company (similar) / Pants: Gap circa 2004 / Shoes: Mossimo for Target

Casual Friday in an already casual work environment is quite the conundrum. Nonetheless people dress especially down on Friday's, myself included. I rarely wear a full on t-shirt to work, even on Friday, but this lucky lady works with a lovely girl who (with her fiance, soon to be hubby!) owns a little t-shirt shop called Loud Lion. This makes it acceptable for all of us in the office who own Loud Lion tees to sport them with pride! Score!

*And - if you dig Loud Lion's designs - follow them on Twitter! @loud_lion
